The Return of the Gali

It does not take any special discernment to know that our youth are being transformed into a generation like the world has never seen before. The attitudes, fashions, and deviant behavior of young people are like a dark cloud that hangs over society as a witness. Everyone can see the fruit of the tree, but what about the roots? What spiritual forces are compelling young people to self-destruct through perverted sex, self-mutilation, and mental instability? We will look at the spiritual heritage of these forces to gain some understanding about what is happening to today’s youth.

The heart of the matter is a fallen angel who has purposed in his heart to pervert the patriarchal image of God. Instead of worshipping the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, he replaced the image of a patriarch with that of a matriarch. The result has been the bane of humanity since the fall of Adam…goddess worship. We will focus on the Cult of the Mother Goddess because it has had the most influence in this realm.

The mother goddess goes by many names depending on region and historic era. Some of these names include Ishtar & Astarte (Babylon), Cybele & Magna Mater (Asia Minor), and Aphrodite (Greece). This goddess always has a male counterpart who goes by names like Tammuz, Attis, and Adonis. The myths around the mother goddess and her male counterpart all have these basic characteristics:

The priests who were responsible for the rituals of the mother goddess during the Greco-Roman era were called Galli. All the Galli were eunuchs, many times castrating themselves after dancing into a mad frenzy where they would also mutilate themselves with gashes and flagellation. The castration was an identification with the emasculated male counterpart of the mother goddess.

The Galli also wore women’s clothing, long braided hair, and bore an effeminate image to identify with the mother goddess as well. The worship of this goddess required sacred sexual rituals where the priests served as “holy” catamites. Female priests served as sacred prostitutes and engaged in sexual acts that allowed them to identify with the mother god’s virginal status. Thus, oral and anal sex (an abomination to God the Father) was a prominent part of their worship.

So what does this have to do with today’s youth? Goddess worship is the predominant form of idolatry in today’s society. At every turn, women are being exalted and worshipped while men are being spiritually castrated and subdued. These spirits have taken over every aspect of society from politics and government to arts and entertainment.

As a result, what used to be confined to temples of the mother goddess has permeated society to such a degree that the entire world has become a temple for the whore of Babylon. If we compare characteristics of the priests and worshippers of these gods and goddesses, we find the same behaviors have taken over the lives of people today.

The only major difference is that today, many people worship these demonic entities ignorantly because they have been blinded by the god of this world to the truth. Isaiah 5:13 says, “My people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge.…”

There are two manifestations of these invading forces that should be noted. The first is the growing trend among young people who believe that engaging in oral and anal sex still qualifies them as virgins. This lie is a direct descendent of the priestess rituals of goddess worship. It is very real. These spirits have not gone anywhere! They are propagating the same lies and deception they used centuries ago! Second is a disturbing sub-culture among teens called “cutters.” These young people habitually use razor blades, straight pins, and the like to slash and cut themselves. This is exactly what priest and priestesses did to worship the mother goddess. Furthermore, even young heterosexual men adorn themselves with earrings, necklaces, and other jewelry and braid their hair. Young women are turned into “scared prostitutes” as young as eleven years old! We are standing face to face with the return of the Galli. This is the spirit that has taken over our youth. These demons have turned them into priests and priestesses: worshippers of the mother goddess, the whore of Babylon.

What is the solution? There is only one. The Spirit of Elijah. The Body of Christ must be filled with the Holy Ghost to have the power to do just as Malachi 4:5 and 6 states, “Behold, I will send you Elijah the Prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
